This time HONOR IS BACK in India!! with more powerful full mid-range Kirin-810 chipset over the Kirin-710F. Honor has recently announced Honor 9x Pro at a price of 14,999 for 6GB LPDDR4X RAM + 256 UFS 2.1 storage variant in Flipkart.

The honor 9x Pro seems to be a great smartphone. Still, Will it withstand without any Google services in India? That’s right. Honor doesn’t support any Google services applications and it has it’s own App Gallery powered by Huawei. Not only the Google services, apps like Instagram, Facebook, Whatsapp, Amazon Prime, and others were also not found.

Coming to the specs, Honor comes with a 6.59″ LTPS IPS LCD display without notch as it has Popup Camera to get a full view display. I’d say the 60Hz refresh rate Panel doesn’t bother most of the Users. It comes with a 3D curved back glass with an X pattern. The metal side frame gives Honor 9X a premium look!
Processor/ Storage / Connectivity
Honor houses Kirin-810 SOC which is a powerful mid-range chipset when compared to Snapdragon730G, 720G. Kirin 810 even stands superior to Mediatek Helio G90T. The Antutu benchmark score are around 3lakh mark which is pretty Impressive. It also features GPU turbo 3.0 & Liquid Cooling system which enhances the Gaming Experience.
It comes with 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage along with the external storage support up-to 512GB. It is coupled with a 6GB LPDDR4X RAM that supports Quad-Channel which is a flagship-level feature.
It has a Hybrid SIM Slot and this chipset is not 5G enabled, supports up-to 4G. The connectivity speed is little higher when it compared with the Snapdragon 730G.
Camera
It has a16MP popup camera as a front cam. In the rear, it has a 48MP F1.8 aperture camera which comes with Sony IMX582 sensor, an 8MP Ultra Wide Angle lens and finally a 2MP depth sensor. Neat!🤩
Software
Honor 9X Pro comes with Android 9 Pie out of the box with EMUI 9.1.1 in global vaiant. The global variants recently got the Android 10 update. So we can expect Android 10 out of the box for this device in India!
Battery
The phone equips a 4000mAh battery that supports only 10W charging which is a bad setback on the current trend. It fully charges up your phone in 2hrs which is, OKAY. Could’ve done better with the power house..!
